A luscious, lemony yellow antique glass seal of The Three Graces looks as though the beauties are captured in a piece of amber. Each daughter bestows a particular gift on humanity: Euphrosyne (joy), Aglaia (radiance), and Thalia (the bloom of beauty). We sat with this one for quite awhile, listening to how this seal wanted to be presented, and we felt a connection to Venus since The Three Graces are closely related to her. Botticelli's Birth of Venus kept coming to mind, so we played with similar shapes, different yet evoking a similar aethestic quality.
